You can use the XXL SEB435 Electrobrush on all your floors without having to switch attachments for bare floors or carpet.
The XXL SEB435 adjusts itself based on the surface you are vacuuming. You will notice, on bare floors such as hardwood, laminate and ceramic, the Electrobrush slows down automatically as it realized it is being used on a hard surface. Hard surfaces do not require agitation. Once you move onto a carpeted area or an area rug, the Electrobrush starts to spin more aggressively. That is to agitate and deep clean the carpet or rug. This feature also makes this vacuum suitable for removing pet hair on bare floors as well as rugs and carpets.
